We are a community shop, café and Post Office with a staff of four and around forty volunteers. Our services are available seven days a week, offering groceries, fresh bread, lottery, an off-licence, daily and Sunday newspapers, magazines, greetings cards, phone top-ups and lots more. Please help to support your shop and your community. Come and see what we offer or volunteer your time.
Monday to Friday: 7.30am to 6.30pm
Saturdays: 7.30am to 5.30pm
Sundays: 8.30am to 1.00pm
We have a full Post Office counter service available - about the only thing we can't do is passports. The Post Office keeps the same hours as the Shop, even Sundays! Deal with your post, despatch parcels, buy stamps for the birthday cards you just bought, use the Drop & Go service, buy euros and US dollars or order other currencies or withdraw cash to spend in the shop or pub. We're there to help.
We aim to source high quality local products wherever possible, including DJ Barnard’s Meats, fresh bread from Hingham Bakery and a selection of plants from Walnut Tree Nursery Garden. Our customers benefit from fresher products with lower carbon footprints that directly support our local enterprises and the wider community.
