We are a community shop, café and Post Office with a staff of four and around forty volunteers. Local weather report

Rocklands automatic weather station is reporting that it's a rather cool, cloudy and overcast spring morning here in the village. The temperature is 10.3°C and there's a moderate southerly breeze.

Post Office

We have a full Post Office counter service available - about the only thing we can't do is passports. The Post Office keeps the same hours as the Shop, even Sundays! Deal with your post, despatch parcels, buy stamps for the birthday cards you just bought, use the Drop & Go service, buy euros and US dollars or order other currencies or withdraw cash to spend in the shop or pub. We're there to help.

Cash deposit facility

We have a new cash deposit facility at the Post Office. Customers can pay cash into their accounts at the following banks: Bank of Ireland, Clydesdale Bank, Lloyds Bank, Halifax, NatWest, RBS, Ulster Bank and Yorkshire Bank. You just need to bring a valid paying-in slip and the cash. We're going to introduce more banks that you can use this facility with soon. Please click here to check out a great article about little-known ways to bank at the post office.

Local produce and suppliers

We aim to source high quality local products wherever possible, including DJ Barnard’s Meats, ice cream and lollies from Dann's Farm, fresh bread from Hingham Bakery and a selection of plants from Walnut Tree Nursery Garden. Our customers benefit from fresher products with lower carbon footprints that directly support our local enterprises and the wider community.
